Photography has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I collected baseball, basketball, and football cards—not so much for the players, but for the portraits. I was drawn to the way a single image could tell a story. That same love carried into drawing, where I challenged myself to capture faces, eyes, and expressions in a way that conveyed emotion and meaning.
When I picked up a camera, everything clicked. I realized photography was my way of preserving timeless moments—those frozen slices of life you can revisit again and again. I spent hours studying my family photo albums, not realizing I was training my eye for composition and detail.
Today, that passion drives everything I do at Moates Photography. From family portraits and senior sessions to product photography and sports coverage, my goal is always the same: to tell your story through images. - Tyler
